Our Story
At Ventur Media House, every project begins with your story. Based in Calgary, Alberta, we are a photo and video production company specializing in documentary filmmaking, paddlesports media, event coverage, and brand storytelling. We believe powerful visuals go beyond aesthetics, they connect people, build trust, and leave a lasting impression rooted in community and purpose.
Ventur Media House started long before it had a name. At just 14 years old, Rylan set out with a simple goal, to build a production company. Like many beginnings, it started with a cringy YouTube channel, but it sparked something bigger: a drive to tell stories and connect with people through photo and video. That passion carried him through formal training at Vancouver Film School, where he graduated at the top of his class and went on to work in the film industry as a cinematographer.
In 2022, Rylan made the decision to return to Alberta to be closer to family and reconnect with his roots in storytelling. On his very first day back, he met Tristan Frank, a fellow photographer who had moved from Ontario in pursuit of the mountains and a life built around creativity. That chance meeting quickly turned into a friendship, and eventually a business partnership. Together, they founded Ventur Media House as it exists today: a company built on shared passion, purpose, and a deep respect for storytelling.
With over a decade of experience, our team has grown into a trusted creative partner for brands, businesses, and creators across Canada.
